マテイ・アンドラシュ・ヴォグリンチッチ
1970年、スロヴェニア・リュブリャナ生まれ。同在住。1990年代初めから、都市や自然環境の中でサイトスペシフィックな作品制作を行う。普段は見過ごされがちなありふれた場所をさらにありふれた素材で埋めつくすという手法で、それぞれの地域や伝統、歴史の特有性を視覚化し、国際的な評価を得てきた。地域のコミュニティとの直接的なやりとりから作品制作を行う。

Matej Andraž Vogrinčič
Born 1970, in Ljubljana, Slovenia and currently lives there. Vogrinčič has created site-specific artworks in urban and natural environment since early 1990s. He has earned international reputation for his artworks visualizing identities of communities, tradition, and history in each location by filling everyday scenes with materials even more commonplace. He creates works through direct communication with communities in each location.
